The Sign of the Cross

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Reflection

The word Catholic means Universal. So being a Catholic School means to be a part of something bigger than just St Joseph’s. The Catholic Church is 2000 years old and has over one billion members. It’s a big family! Here is a snapshot of what you are part of as a member of a Catholic School:

Prayer

Lord, help us to see the bigger picture in our lives. Help us to know that we are part of a big loving family. Help us to appreciate and not to take for granted our time in this school, we give thanks for the efforts teachers, support staff and leaders make to give us the best education they can. Amen.

We turn to Mary, Mother of Jesus, asking her to pray for us:

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee; blessed art thou amongst women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of death. Amen.

Our Lady Queen of Peace, pray for us

St Joseph, pray for us.

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
